Sales Learning Curve

According to serial entrepreneur and Stanford professor Mark Leslie, “The temptation in startups is to immediately ramp up sales force capacity to acquire customers as quickly as possible… Hiring a full sales force too fast just leads the company to burn through cash and fail to meet revenue expectations.”

Join this session to learn which phase of the Sales Learning Curve your company is in, and how to build a roadmap that defines the:

Revenue-Based Financing with Lowery Thomas of Lighter Capital

You are invited to a CEO Strategy Session on Revenue-Based Financing with Lowery Thomas, Investment Director at Lighter Capital. This session will take place on Thursday, May 12 from 10AM-11AM ET via Zoom.

What this session will cover: Depending on the company, venture capital or equity-based funding might not be the most effective and impactful way for a company to raise. Revenue-Based Financing has become a popular alternative that enables founders with non-dilutive capital.

Revenue-based financing is a way that companies can raise capital by pledging a percentage of future ongoing revenues in exchange for money invested. A portion of revenues will be paid to investors at a pre-established percentage until a certain multiple of the original investment has been repaid.

During this session, Lowery will share the basics of Revenue-Based Financing, including how to

  • Determine if it’s a viable (and smart) option for your company
  • Evaluate the right loan value, terms, and provider
  • Understand the advantages, tradeoffs, and best practices to follow
